This booklet contains all the key elements for getting a fantastic grade in the GCSE Spanish writing exam. Booklet follows the TORTILLA formula for writing - tenses, opinions, reasons, time phrases, idiomatic expressions, linking words, ‘lo’ phrases, adjectives. This booklet could be used in class alongside teacher-led explanations etc or it could be given to students as homework over a period of time. It could also be used as an extra revision resource for students. There is enough content in this booklet (16 pages) to cover a series of lessons. I used this resource with my own Year 11s recently and it has massively improved their Spanish writing skills! :)

This is a fun revision lesson for Year 10 or 11. It consists of a series of activities which aim to recap key GCSE grammar and vocabulary. In order to ‘crack the code’, students must complete 9 activities. Each activity will provide students with a code word. Once all 9 activities are correctly completed, they will have 9 code words from which to form a sentence in Spanish. They will then have to translate this sentence into English to crack the code.
