British School of Bucharest
About British School of Bucharest
The British School of Bucharest opened in August 2000 in response to a demand in Bucharest for a high quality internationally recognized education.
With increasing globalisation it is becoming even more important for parents to be able to secure a high standard of recognised education.
The aim of the British School of Bucharest is to provide to children with the education and social skills needed for an ever changing world. The school has shown sustained growth since opening. Small class sizes complemented by additional educational support allow for a positive learning environment. The curriculum of the school follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales. All the core subjects are covered. English as an additional language and other educational support are offered as appropriate. The website can only give a brief outline of how our school offers an excellent standard of education. We encourage you to visit our school and talk to office staff, teachers, assistants and children to see for yourself what we have to offer.
The British School of Bucharest is a recognised Cambridge International Centre, SSAT Test Centre 2005/2006, SSAT Test Centre 2007/2008 and is recognised by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
