About Coombe Girls' School
Coombe Girls’ is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11 – 18 school that is federated with its partner boys’ school to comprise the Coombe Secondary Schools Academies Trust, based in New Malden, Surrey.
Coombe Girls’ has approximately 1500 students on roll, including a large mixed sixth form. Results at GCSE and A Level are significantly above national averages and the School is one of only 35 institutions nationally to have been assessed as ‘Outstanding’ by OfSTED for four successive inspections, the most recent being in May 2013. Students’ progress is ranked in the top 7th percentile nationally.
The school is proud to be innovative and forward-thinking and currently holds Teaching School status as well as being an active member of the Independent State School Partnership with King’s College School, Wimbledon. Coombe Girls’ is global in its outlook having previously been a Modern Foreign Languages School and currently holds International School status.
