GEMS Founders School, Dubai (GFS)

GEMS Founders School, Dubai opened its doors in 2016 as the first of the GEMS Founders schools and has since grown into a well-established FS1–Year 13 school in Al Barsha South. Today, the school welcomes more than 6,000 students from over 100 nationalities and delivers the National Curriculum for England through to GCSE, BTEC and A Level. Its large three-building campus offers a wide range of specialist facilities, including dedicated Key Stage 5 hubs, an innovation hub, E-Sports and podcast spaces, a performance hall for the creative arts, specialist sports facilities and purpose-built learning spaces across the different phases.

As the school that established the GEMS Founders family, GFS has helped shape the standards, values and identity shared across the wider cluster. There is a real sense of belonging at GFS. Despite being a large school, staff know each other, families stay for the long term and there is a strong feeling of community across the school. At the same time, the size of GFS means there are opportunities to collaborate, develop and take on new challenges that you may not find in a smaller school.

GEMS Founders School, Dubai South (GFD)

GEMS Founders School – Dubai South is a growing British curriculum school, established in 2024 as part of the successful GEMS Founders family. Currently offering education from Foundation Stage through Key Stage 4, the school is expanding year-on-year towards becoming a full FS1–Year 13 school. Located in the rapidly developing Dubai South community, the purpose-built campus offers modern facilities designed to support academic, creative and sporting development, with excellent transport links connecting the area to wider Dubai.

Joining GEMS Founders School – Dubai South at this stage offers teachers the chance to be part of the school’s development from the outset.
