Values and vision
GEMS Wellington School strives to develop the potential in its students, and hopes to instil a belief that each student holds the capacity for leadership. The school believes that both pupils and teachers never stop learning. There is a drive to continually work to exceed expectations. Educational standards are set at a very high level, the school says, and there is a real effort for the school to go above and beyond for pupils.
GEMS Wellington School Qatar takes aims to inspire all of its students to unlock their potential, and believes that there are no matters or ideas too big or small when it comes to making a better learning environment. New technologies are implemented if they are believed to be of benefit to the lessons, and this equips students with what the school hopes is a 21st century skill set that will help them become well-rounded global citizens.
Both experienced and newer educators are trained with the same level of focus, and the school stands by, and acts upon, the idea that “great teachers inspire great students.”
