At Moorings Way Infant School our vision is to provide an engaging, inspiring and relevant curriculum in which all children make excellent progress and feel valued. All children are taught strategies to support their own cognitive development and encourage independence and problem solving. Our committed and experienced staff ensure that children are exposed to learning experiences in which they can flourish.

At Moorings Way, we are a proud member of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust. This enables us to create a unique offer for children: an "all-through" educational journey in which they remain with the same family of schools throughout their education. We are committed to the ethos of excellence and a whole school approach to the teaching of thinking skills.

We are one of five primary schools and one secondary school in Portsmouth to benefit from Thinking Schools' award-winning resources, curriculum, and collaboration opportunities.
