PORG - Ostrava

PORG Ostrava is a bilingual IB World School which was founded in 2011. It is located in the industrial city of Ostrava in the heart of Europe. The city of Ostrava has population of 300,000. PORG Ostrava serves over 250 students aged 6 to 19 years old, and their numbers are steadily increasing. School teaches classes both in Czech and English languages, in its language educations school also offers German, French and Spanish. School combines requirements of Czech national curriculum with Cambridge International Examination program.

The PORG group was founded in 1990 and is comprised of three campuses, which are among the most prestigious private schools in the Czech Republic. The excellent results of its students and their high academic standards are regularly affirmed by independent testing in state, AP, and IB examination results.

Gymnazium PORG Ostrava teaches students to become confident young persons equipped for the challenges of their professional, as well as communal and personal life. The school both works with the local Czech community and maintains an international outlook, fostering students that are able and ready to make a positive difference in the community and society.
