Royds Hall, A SHARE Academy is an inclusive, open-minded school, passionate about its students and positive about their future.

The Academy is dedicated to ensuring all students leave Royds Hall fully equipped with the life skills, experiences and educational outcomes required to have a happy and successful future. Students are guided by committed and inspiring professionals, in a supportive environment and are given the room to express and challenge themselves, because they believe every young person can succeed.

Royds Hall Academy is a member of SHARE Multi-Academy Trust, a partnership created to provide services and support to benefit the children it teaches.  The trust ethos is ‘Valuing People, Supporting Personal Best’, and together we believe that by working together, sharing expertise and resources, schools grow and improve.

Professional Development

Professional and career development is at the heart of SHARE Multi-Academy Trust. Staff have access to a wide range of training and development opportunities including internal training sessions, external courses and sharing best practice across the trust.

Across our partner schools there are Subject Experts, Specialist Leaders of Education, Excellent Practitioners, trained Coaches and Mentors, as well as Outstanding Leaders offering support and training. We offer the opportunity of a career development programme that could take teachers on a journey from trainee to senior leader and beyond.

The Trust

SHARE Multi Academy Trust currently consists of Shelley College, Thornhill Community Academy, Royds Hall Community School, Whitcliffe Mount School, Heaton Avenue Primary School, Millbridge Primary School, Lily Park Primary School, Luck Lane Primary School, Woodside Green Primary School with a view to continue to expand.
