Opened in 2011, The International School @ ParkCity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The school offers both Primary and Secondary schooling, with intake from nursery to A-Levels. Kuala Lumpur is the nation’s capital city, with a population of 1.8 million.
Teaching is based broadly on the National Curriculum for England. On-campus facilities include a well-equipped library, sky view study pods and a lounge located in the main boulevard walkway. Students will also get to use off-campus amenities in the RM60 million ParkCity Club’s multi-purpose hall, such as badminton courts, lap pool, fun pool, and the SportsCentre comprising a FIFA-size football field and two basketball courts. Creative co-curricular activities at the school include glee club, drama, orchestra, creative cooking, origami, and scrap booking. From year 3 and above students can choose from 3 co-curricular pursuits. There are four houses at Park City, each named for an endangered species in Malaysia; Gajah (Pigmy Elephants), Harimau (Malaysian Tigers), Penyu (Marine Turtles), and Badak (Sumatran Rhinoceros).
