Values and vision
Thorpe Hall works hard to ensure that pupils have a friendly and vibrant atmosphere in which to learn. The school has a strong focus on extra-curricular activities, allowing pupils to develop their skills beyond the classroom. Social skills play a big part in the curriculum at Thorpe Hall and a wide range of different subjects are on offer.
Thorpe Hall runs its own “Competency Based Curriculum” alongside the mainstream curriculum, with the intention of teaching pupils how to work independently and guide their own education.
“Pupils personal development is of very high quality and amply fulfils the school’s pastoral aims. From the EYFS onwards, pupils are cared for extremely well through excellent pastoral care and attention to their wellbeing. Consequently, their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent. Pupils are strongly self-aware and confident.”
