After 13 years as a teacher of English, Media and Drama and a spell as Head of Department I became an advisory teacher of English and a KS3 Literacy consultant. My work with City Learning Centres developed my abiding interest in the use of ICT and in 2005 I committed myself to the CLC programme, firstly as an e-learning consultant and then as manager/director of learning at Widnes CLC where I have been keenly involved in the development of mobile learning programmes and the application of film, audio and publishing across the curriculum. <br /><a href="http://www.tes.co.uk/article.aspx?storyCode=6069137">Member of TES English Teaching</a>
