A collection resource of questions for A and AS Level Cambridge (9709) sorted by topics from Quadratics to Trigonometry with markscheme, arrange chronologically from November 2018. This is a good resource for revising the students who will be taking mock and actual exams.
A worksheet on the sum of the terms of an arithmetic sequence or arithmetic series. The exercises require to find the sum of a number of terms of an arithmetic sequence given the first terms and the common difference, the first few terms of the sequence, two of the terms of the sequence (by solving a system of simultaneous equations), the first and the last term or the first term and the sum of two other terms. Detailed solutions are included.

The Pure presentation has around 570 slides and the Applied presentation 220 slides each with notes, examples, diagrams and questions for the students to complete along with worked answers.
A comprehensive lesson scaffolded to accommodate for students that have not seen this before. I used this in a lesson observation and was judged outstanding. It should last 1 lesson if paced correctly.
I did edit part of a lesson found on here, or google, but thank you to the original artist, I have made a few adjustments to suit my class.
Here is my power point trying to structure questions for C1 from past papers. I have split the paper into 11 sections and tried to group questions together. All solutions are given at a click. For use by giving to pupils and leaving them to it, or working through topics as a class. Every question from 2006-2018. Also works extremely well on iPads.
Erica is struggling with many aspects of the A level mathematics course and needs help from your students. What you have here is 17 of her homeworks, each with mistakes in solutions which your students need to find, correct and explain where Erica has gone wrong. These are purely designed to generate discussion and to allow students to demonstrate their understanding, whilst also allowing them to show their own methods of solving problems. These are all based upon the new A level curriculum.

The file is a self marking worksheet. It is easy for use by students. It uses random numbers to generate questions so that the worksheets can be used many times, but with different questions. The worksheet is also formatted to be printable and used as paper copies.
A fully worked solution page is linked so that whatever the numerical value of the questions generated, the solutions will show the correct values.

To be used with a top set class but a starting cover of Cubic and Geometric sequences following the new 9-1 GCSE spec.
Not an in-depth lesson however covers cubic sequences (from applying quadratic sequence skills) and then geometric which is fairly self-explanatory I should imagine.
An NQT so all feedback welcomed!
Thanks
With this activity, students will find terms of sequences and then color their answers on the picture according to the directions to reveal a beautiful, colorful mandala! As an added bonus, the final products make fabulous classroom decor!
This activity is an excellent resource for sub plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, and extra practice with some fun. It is especially useful for end-of-year practice, spiral review, and motivated practice when students are exhausted from standardized testing or mentally “checked out” before a long break (hello summer!). Teachers and students alike enjoy motivating activities, so engage your students today with these fun coloring activities!
This is a whole lesson Introducing Geometric Sequences.
The lesson looks at finding the common ratio in various problem-solving forms, finding individual terms, and other problems. The worksheet is differentiated and includes six different types of questions that will challenge the pupil’s understanding. This is aimed at an A-Level audience but could be used for a top set lower down the school or for Additional Mathematics. This lesson is ready to go, with no prep required. It is also great for home learning. 23 slide presentation + worksheet.
The lesson comes with:
starter
learning objectives (differentiated)
