AQA Psychology issues and debates work booklet

(2)
Work booklet given to students to complete independently. Makes an excellent summer project or revision resource. Students had some knowledge of the issues and debates content but had not covered it in any great depth. This booklet therefore contains enough detail for them to have a good understanding of the content but also leaves enough gaps for the students to use their existing knowledge and additional research skills to complete. Knowledge review questions are included at the end of every sub topic. As always, I recommend students use the Tutor2u and Simply Psychology sites as a point of reference. Levels of explanation picture credit to Tutor2U Psychology.

On Page 2 is the specification, with three faces so they can RAG rate their understanding throughout the topic. It also has a column they can tick to indicate that they have revised each area. On Pages 3-4 is a glossary which could be used as revision or in lesson as a key terms test. On each page there is space for students to complete information or activities to demonstrate their understanding and completion of the topic. When printing, I would recommend converting the PowerPoint to PDF as this may cause some formatting issues with some printers.

This is a collection of every potential essay topic for the Forensic Psychology section of Paper 3 of AQA Psychology A Level. There are no application essays as the application varies every year. There are some shorter subtopics which will only ever be asked as an 8 marker, or an application 16 marker, so these essays have only 2 AO3 paragraphs. These essays are all written by me and have achieved A* s throughout years 12 and 13, and in my A level psychology.
