Isometric paper (or dot paper) can be used to help with drawing 3D shapes. This popular resource is a single document containing every capital letter drawn on isometric paper which students can use to help write their name or initials. This is a great activity to introduce 3D drawing and plans and elevations. It also makes for an excellent end-of-term activity.

A simple and effective French alphabet lesson with great animations, songs and games. There is also a dictation with answers coming up afterwards for pupils to check their work. The focus of the lesson is on speaking and memorising the alphabet.
Made myself as everything online was too ‘busy’. These are very simple and look lovely printed onto card- I’ve used kraft card and they look amazing!

Environmental Print Alphabet Logo on Leaves
By ascribing meaning to print in our environment, children are already reading! These leaves make a lovely display in any EYFS classroom. The can be arranged to form the shape of a tree. All you need to do is add brown paper/card to make a trunk.
A 2-sided, attractively presented, fun worksheet for tutor time students to guess the logos and brands. Part 1 has 45 fairly well-known logos that the students have to guess and Part 2 has the alphabet created with the first letter from famous UK, American and international brands for the students to guess.
I gave a time limit of 20 minutes for this activity with my form group and it worked quite well.

A fun game to play with the whole class or small groups in the lead up to Christmas. The download contains a printable answer sheet, a set of theme cards and a list of instructions for making the game easier or harder. You can make it as competitive as you like with either a relaxed individual game or a team led timed game. The file will download as a PDF.
With beginning readers in mind, these initial sounds alphabet cards are perfect for young children learning their first words.
For each letter there are 10 sorting pictures to go with it, except for x and z which understandably has less. They are ready to print. All that is required is to then laminate them for extra strength. Personally I use card stock for even more durability.
Children sort through the Initial Sound Cards and categorize them with their initial sound. They are perfect for individual, buddy or group activity.
