Here are some resources to do with e-safety which are suitable for Year 7 students who are learning about how to stay safe online, what personal information is and about cyber-bullying. There is the 1st E-safety lesson which incorporates a video to help students gain insight in to the different challenges that they may come across online as well as class tasks to help them identify personal information that should and should not be shared. In this lesson there is also a homework task about creating a 5 do's and don'ts poster. The second lesson is about cyberbullying and again incorporates a video along with a sheet to complete whilst watching it. There are discussion tasks as well as a link to a game for students to play in which they will be given a score (Digizen Game). There is a lesson plan to go alongside this lesson.

Pupils are able to practise questions and answers (speaking) as well as develop their reading skills with the help of a gap text.

It’s just a list of questions I’ve used with KS3 pupils on the theme of giving personal information. It covers most things! The list is in French only. See my other resources for more tasks to work with these questions.

Here are 3 templates that counsellors working with children and young people could use as a more visual aid and way of communicating the counselling contract. There is a blank one where you could fill in your own information or questions. There is one with key questions included. The third has key questions but added pictures / symbols. There is a black and white version and colour version of each of the 3 templates. Play therapists may also adapt the templates for their work with children and young people.

This is a comprehensive and interactive PPT with 42 slides on greetings and personal information. The first part goes through the various ways of greetings, both formal and informal. The second part looks at how to ask and respond to a range of personal information: name, age, phone number, date of birth, where I live and come from, nationality, job, where you work. It is followed by some practice and a who’s who game with pictures of famous people. It is suitable for KS3 students but I also found it very useful for KS4 students in preparation for the role-plays, as they often forget how to ask and respond properly to basic questions.

Personal Information Crossword Puzzle-ESL Fun Games Try out our Personal Information Crossword Puzzle. Description: This is a two page crossword puzzle worksheet.  Each puzzle has a total of thirty-five statements or questions used as clues to solve the puzzle. How to Use It:  Students will use the across and down clues to write the correct words in a numbered grid. These puzzles can be printed and handed out to students in class.  They also work great for extra homework practice. Save on printing costs by projecting the puzzle and having students write down the answers in their notebooks. Notes: Each puzzle includes an Answer Key. With this fun activity students can work in pairs to practice questions and answers about personal information. Students need to memorize a new identity in order to work with their family as spies. There are 15 facts that they need to remember to answer the questions about this new person they will become. This activity helps them to revise the vocabulary and grammar content about personal information. They can work in pairs or individually (they get both pages 1 and 2 and instead of answering orally they write the answers). It can be adapted for an oral assessment test (students can have the first page and teacher can ask the questions). There are two different identities for the students.
