Oracy and debate sentence stems. Print our for display or as individual cards.

A handy resource for all teachers who are keen to get their class speaking and listening to each other. Using an Oracy framework, the handy one page document can act as a great prompt for the children. The discussion and debating structures are suggestions of how to begin to incorporate the sentence stems. Over time, the children will use the stems more naturally and follow their own path of the discussion or debate without following a set path. The Power Point can be printed out as part of a display or reduced as packs of cards that can be used by the children. Also included is a brief guide to how the cards and stems could be used over time.
