NEW: A Memory Owl Times Tables App is available on App Store, Google Play and Kindle Fire!
This YouTube video gives an introduction to Memory Owl’s Times Tables, and is the first in a series of all the times tables stories up to 12x.
NEW: A Memory Owl Times Tables App is available on App Store, Google Play and Kindle Fire!
Memory Owl packs of flash cards contain 42 cards of the times tables from 2x up to 12x. They show the picture from the story on the front, and the characters and answer on the back.
When I originally put the concept and book together 5 years ago, I went slightly overboard and ordered 1,000 of each flash card, as it was more cost efficient. However, since then, I have had boxes of flash cards sitting unused and unloved under the stairs, so I would like to sell them off for less than cost price.
So therefore I am selling each box, containing c20 sets of flash cards, for £30 + postage. Please feel free to sell them in school to make some money for the school.
If you would like to buy one (or more!), please contact me at susan@memory-owl.com. (Note: The boxes contain just the flashcards, and not the case in the photo)
A NEW WAY OF REMEMBERING TIMES TABLES!
For children who find remembering numbers tricky, get them to learn stories instead, using memory techniques. The resources will help you teach a class, groups or individuals learn their 2x table. Great for all children and especially those with any level of dyscalculia. Useful for any age.

Review: ‘My 6 year old son has ADHD and is on the Autism Spectrum, causing many struggles with his learning. I have been amazed at how this book has captured his attention and given him times table success. For us this book is fun, stress free learning and that’s priceless.’
For more information about Memory Owl, please see www.memory-owl.com or contact susan@memory-owl.com.
**This presentation contains ALL the Memory Owl stories for 2x tables up to 12x tables. **
The slide show is narrated, so can be played to a class whilst being listened to, or you can ask children to read the stories.
I have also included sheets about how to use Memory Owl, number sheets that can be shown to the children as they get used to the numbers (one is the sun, two is a shoe, etc), and other hopefully useful information.
I have a huge amount of flash cards sitting in my dining room, so please let me know if you would like some to help cement the learning! Only £5 per pack from susan@memory-owl.com.
I have also written an app containing all the stories - available on iOS and Android. Search for Memory Owl’s Times Tables.

The object of the game is to collect the matching pairs. Choose one rectangle and click on it. You will see a picture or a word on your card. Then choose another rectangle and click on it. If the two cards are a matching pair, click on the circle and a circle of the same colour will appear on the card. If the cards are not a match, click on the cards again and they will be turned back over. Then two new cards can be chosen. Dedicated to my beloved son Tom, who died in 2014 at the age of 17.

“The Rainbow Unicorn” enchants our little ones with the magic of unicorns. The rainbow unicorn has a unique style that inspires others to be themselves.
“Doris Duck and Her Two Little Ducklings” explores the importance of acceptance and diversity in a community.
‘‘The Owl that needed Glasses’’ is the final story, teaching children how even the wisest of us may need to seek and accept help.
The magic of these stories will inspire creative writing among children.
