One hour lesson comprehensively covering all the considerations a couple or single person needs to make before deciding to have a child. This lesson is UK focused and students will investigate the childcare cost and environmental issues, as well as practical and emotional considerations. They will also focus on the positive aspects too, of love, affection, companionship and purpose. This has been created to best suit KS4 but could easily be used with KS3 and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-23 and will last you one hour. Activities are scaffolded, there is a detailed and colourful PowerPoint, clip tasks, partnered tasks, active tasks, worksheets, literacy tasks, information pack, signposting to further help agencies and charities, clear outcomes and also progress measurers. This detailed 22 page PSHE / RSE workbook and one-hour PowerPoint based lesson have been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance (specifically to cover health and wellbeing as well as families and relationships). The lesson includes a detailed one-hour PowerPoint, various differentiated activities, clip task, information sheets and literacy tasks. The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed, all information included. Also included: Signposting for further help and advice Progress checkers Whole School literacy activities Creative activities Editable, optional assessment pack (with an example of how to fill it in, as shown as a healthy lives assessment) There is a PowerPoint lesson pack which can be used in conjunction with this workbook (although you don’t need to use them together, each pack is discrete), which can be found here: Unhealthy + Controlling Relationships Who are EC Resources? Revision and Metacognition for Parents powerpoint and resources

This is a presentation I did for parents and carers of year 11 students all about revision and metacognition. It includes a 23 slide long powerpoint detailing how parents can support their students with their revision at home in the run up to exams. The slides have lots of ‘notes’ underneath them to help explain each one and what I said to the parents. Also included are the resources spoken about during the powerpoint. This worked fantastically well as a live presentation on parents evening but would equally work as a virtual presentation too.
