My students totally love this resource and play it constantly to revise these key individuals. The cards are a set of 24 key individuals from the History of Medicine and is suitable for all exam boards. They can use them to quiz each other, as flash cards and to play the classic game of top trumps. Half the time they don’t even know they are revising which is great! I have included both the publisher and pdf versions so you can edit if you wish or create more cards. I have also added a blank version with just names and pictures so students can add the information for each individual themselves as part of their revision. I have also added blank card in case they want to add further individuals.

Here’s an interactive resource that helps students to get to grips with the key differences and similarities between the Group 7 elements. The task allows students to research and compile information on Fluorine, Chlorine, Iodine, Bromine and Astatine. They can use this information to play against each other by comparing the boiling points, mass numbers, atomic numbers, reactivity and electron configuration of each element. The resource includes instructions and also extension questions for students that finish early.

Here are 24 Roman top trumps cards - they need reducing in size to fit four onto a page of A4 and printing onto card. They are aimed at Years 5-7 or anyone studying the Romans. They could be used as a summary at the end of a topic or even as a starter. Each one details one aspect of Roman life - from slaves to aqueducts, from Roman roads to gladiators. Children can play the game whilst learning about the Romans. Once the game is over, children can ‘find’ examples of the Roman legacy or ‘find’ reasons why people liked being ruled by the Romans etc. These are very versatile cards that have a multitude of uses.
