This resource is designed to build on from previous composition units in year 7 and year 8 and expects pupils to use a DAW package, the resources are geared towards Cubase but could be easily adapted to work on a different package. They firstly explore remixing by listening to some remixes (2WEI Toxic is a great one) and are then walked through the process of creating a remix by the teacher. Once this is completed, pupils are expected to independently create their own remix for assessment purposes.
