Four modules use The Tempest, Antigone, Saint Joan and Our Day Out. Each contains five KS3 and five KS4 worksheets, moving through interpretation, characterisation, physical theatre, staging, rehearsal and performance.

Activities develop diction, voice projection, movement, pace, intonation, facial expression, use of stage space, action and reaction, and subtext. Teachers’ notes provide aims, scene focus, preparation, grouping, classroom approaches and extensions where relevant.

Designed for specialist and non-specialist Drama teachers working with mixed-ability groups. Use individual sessions or a module, with access to the relevant play texts as required by the preparation notes. Selected extracts and summaries are included; these are not complete editions of the plays.
