Two complete Conti-style Spanish lessons on town and local area, built around high-frequency chunks students need for speaking and writing: hay / no hay, opinions with reasons, and pero.

Students learn 12 places in town with colourful picture icons, then build up from simple hay / no hay sentences to describing where they live, giving opinions, reading a text about a Spanish town and designing their own ideal barrio.

24 slides with teacher notes, ready to teach with no prep.
Suitable for S2–S4 and Y8–10, National 4/5 and GCSE Foundation. Also works as revision for Higher-tier GCSE.

WHY THIS ONE’S DIFFERENT

Built on Gianfranco Conti’s Extensive Processing Instruction (EPI) methodology. Students hear, read and play with the language many times before they produce it, moving from pictures, to sentence builders, to reading, to translation, to independent writing.

Every translation sentence uses language students have already met in the lesson.

The speaking questions and model answers match the home town questions students meet in National 5 and GCSE speaking.
