Students are to answer the exam Question: To what extent are hard engineering schemes sustainable? These can be peer assessed by students and then let students respond to their partners feedback. To end students choose one engineering technique that they have described this lesson and evaluate (give reasons) why they think this is the best method to protect a river from flooding.
