A lesson for topic 2.2 (Making Marketing Decisions-YR 11 Content) for Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Business.

A very detailed lesson covering the entire content for the topic, which included the Marketing Mix, with each element of the 4Ps (Price, Product, Place & Promotion) covered individually, with worksheet and recap activities throughout. For Product, the design mix and product lifecycle are looked at, For Price, the high volume vs high margin strategies as well as influences on pricing strategies are looked at, For Promotion, the Promtional mix elements are covered e.g Sponsorship, Publiclity, Advertising etc and lastly for Place, retailing vs etailing and the benefits/drawbacks of each is covered. The lesson concludes by considering the need for an integrated Marketing Mix. The overall lesson content compliments the Edexcel core textbook, with a powerpoint presentation and worksheets.
