This is a revision resource designed to cover everything a student needs to know to pass the 2022 Advanced Information Component 2, Section A (TV Crime) section which will be on Media Language and Contexts. This resource can be set as independent revision, taught in class time (I would advise across 6 lessons) or set as H/W.

The resource includes key tips for passing the exam, how to attack the audio/visual in the exam as well as three question explorations ( 2 on Media Lang, 1 on Contexts). The resource is also full of theory and terminology exploration as well as a whole host of other useful tips for the big day.

IMPORTANT: This resource includes printable resources sheets within the power point as well as embedded videos. It also includes a shot list resource I created based on the embedded and credited Studio Binder videos embedded into the power point. Moreover, the notes section is also full of links, sources and top tips/ observations based on my delivery of the lesson to my students.

NOTE: I am following EDUQAS Teaching Model 1 in my teaching/ SOW and my school is providing Media Studies GCSE as a Three- Year Course.

If you liked this resource and found it useful, it would be greatly appreciated if you could feedback or rate my resource as I am constantly trying to adapt and refine my resources to improve the learning of my students. Many thanks.
