These resources are nothing fancy, they are just my resources that took quite a long time to make and so I thought I’d share them.

My approach to the LIBF case study is this

  1. Getting to know Harry Questions (see my other resources) to help student familiarise themselves with the case study. I allocated sections to different students and then they all uploaded into one revision document

  2. LIBF-May-2023-Exam—Unit-2-CS2-Quiz—POWERPOINT - I bought this from TES for just £3. It was really worthwhile and made a fun way to check knowledge and understanding. I’d recommend.

  3. These Case Study Practice questions - All I have done is taken my list of past exam Case Study questions and identified key themes in the Case Study. I have then adapted the past exam questions that are similar to the ones that might come up for Harry. I have then found the corresponding markscheme answers for previous case studies and cut and paste them in. There are about 20 questions

The student task is to read the markscheme (and text book if needed) and identify the relevant knowledge to answer the question and then also identify relevant detail in the case study to use as application. They just bullet pointed this at this stage. Again, to save time, I allocated different questions to different students in the class (differentiated in terms of level of difficulty) and then they shared their answers. Student completed as homework

  1. Then we will use step 3 to do some practice question

  2. Then I intend to use Daniel Topping’s resources that are also available on TES and always very worthwhile to complete a mock with the students.
