Also, you will receive a PDF and JPEG version of a poster with all 25 Single Balances on it to display on your wall, projector, TV or smartboard.
It also includes tips for success and common refinements to use during the activity.
Note: This book is also available as a bundle with my 4 Week Gymnastics Unit Plan (in my TES Store)
How I use this resource:
Show students the balances starting with the easiest and moving up to the
more advanced balances - Either by printing this guide or projecting it on a TV
or screen. Play music and allow students to try to hold the balance for a
specific amount of time or longer
As students are trying the balances, play some music and walk around and
offer feedback. Stop the class every few minutes or so and talk about group
refinements and have an exemplar student give an example of their balance
and discuss why it looks so good.
Note: Balances are all color coded for level of difficulty, Green (easy) Yellow (medium) and Red (hard)
