This making a salt lesson is a required practical in the AQA GCSE Chemistry ‘Chemical changes’ topic in paper 1. I usually spread this over two lessons. Firstly, I reintroduce the idea of salts and what reactions make salts. Then we do the practical and finish with a 6 mark exam question. The making a salt resource includes:
