This is a full lesson resource on the Buddhist 5 Precepts, looking at their use in making moral decisions, how easy they would be to follow in the UK today and how they compare to the 10 commandments.

This is an easy to follow power point lesson. The lesson has been planned to last for about 1 hour however it is fully editable. This lesson is designed to continue from our FREE introduction to rules and laws lesson and our 10 commandments lesson but would also work on its own. No prior printing, planning or preparation is required.

No previous knowledge in this subject area is needed, the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist.

Lesson includes -
Starter and plenary task to demonstrate learning and progression
Clear and accurate information
Discussion tasks and feedback slides
Short, engaging tasks
Challenging extension activities
Scenario tasks
Writing frames provided where needed
Optional Rights Respecting Slide
Optional recap & recall slides (these refer to the previous 10 commandments lesson in our religious rules and laws unit).
