5G Mobile Network: Computing, ICT or Computer Science Lesson (Single or Cover, KS3 or KS4)

This computing project has been designed to be used in a number of ways:

  • As a one-off cover lesson
  • As part of a sequence of computer science lessons (see my other lessons)
  • As a ‘gap’ lesson, between other projects.

Students will investigate the introduction of the 5G mobile network. Faster mobile connections will have a massive impact on our society - from business to mobile entertainment. These developments make for great classroom discussion.

The project includes a student worksheet, teacher presentation, a multiple choice quiz and links to a wealth of online articles and videos.

An original project for computing, computer science or ICT lessons in KS3 or KS4.
