The high end, attractive and informative power point has detailed instructions and notes, step-by-step animations, with starter, main and plenary activities, as well as home learning included.
A lesson plan is also included (MS Publisher file).

Learning Outcomes:

In ONE point perspective lesson (1b), students will gain an understanding of:

• Famous artists in history, such as Leonardo De Vinci and Hans Vermeer who used one point perspective drawing techniques
• What is one point perspective drawing?
• How to create realistic perspective drawings, with 3 challenges including: basic cubes, varied shapes, to complex city street views
• Literacy: Students will also learn a range of subject specific key words

I have added in an additional “Quality of line 1b” power point that could be used to build confidence for lower ability students. From this students will learn:
• Gain confidence in drawing freehand squares, rectangles and circles using guidelines, proportional measurement and outline.

The worksheets are differentiated into two categories:

• ‘LA’ worksheets having additional support in terms of the outcomes as well as sentence stems, word banks, etc.
• The second category of worksheet has differentiation in the form of more open ended tasks as well as ‘Super Challenges’.
