This resource contains one exemplar essay written by an A/A* student for Paper 2 of AQA Spanish A-level, focusing on the film ‘Volver’ by Pedro Almodovar. As it is an example, the question was created based upon past exam questions. It is not a past question itself, and so can be useful to those looking to sit the exam in the future.
The essay received 35 out of 40 awarded by their teacher. This essay can be used as a guide for Spanish students that are unsure how to approach essay questions, how to organise and plan, and how to use sophisticated spanish vocabulary to achieve top marks. This resource was designed to adhere to the AQA Spanish A-level specification, but is easily applicable to other exam boards as a guide as to how to write a top mark essay.
