Please find attached two PowerPoint presentation covering mechanisms in organic chemistry. The first covers:

Nucleophilic Substitution
Elimination
Electrophilic Addition
Free Radical Substitution
Nucleophilic Addition
Electrophilic Substitution

The second provides a summary of the above in slightly more detail but also includes exam style questions covering the content to give the students a chance to apply what they have learned.

Additionally I’ve also attached a cheat sheet the students may find useful with more reactions and info on the conditions & catalysts.

It was created for AQA but may also be suitable for OCR & Edexcel students.

says on description that it includes all mechanisms but only actually includes free radical substitutions, electrophilic addition and nucleophillic substitution?

great powerpoints however it would have been more helpful if their were more questions ,an easy method would have been to include multiple past exam questions sequential with associated mark schemes as what i required was self assessment by students. was it worth the cost? definitely.
