Two extended non-fiction translations using native French resources and providing my own ‘fair copy’ translation so that your preparation is ready to go. I have previously taught the Masters in Translation at the University of Sheffield and so have provided two A-Level-friendly extended translations for your students to stretch and hone their skills. This level of mastery greatly improves their exam performance in the live translation section of Paper 1. The workshops guide you to discuss themes such as register, tone and audience, as well as meaning.
