This will be very useful to parents and students at the beginning of the A level English Lit course because it (1) shows how deeper the skills are from those needed at GCSE and it also conveniently lists the skills that are being sought by the examiners. Although these can be gleaned from the mark schemes the lst here is much more convenient. My son's teachers are not explaining much of this.
