A fun, practical fusion of reading comprehension, Maths and independent investigation, the children will be super engaged with the hands-on and practical length related investigations. A fun way to introduce the concept; this lesson also includes the option to extend learning to the equality/inequality symbols and invites lots of interesting and ponderous discussions about properties and whether there are other ways to measure the size of of an object.
