A teaching resource for photography teachers and facilitators that can be adapted from school up to university level, that has been developed from my twenty years of knowledge and experience as a photographer and visual arts teacher.
This is a worksheet to be used as a helpful guide for students on photography courses to use, to analyse their own images. This helps students identify how, when, where and why they have made their work and evolve a better understanding of what they have done/made.
This is a good worksheet/guide to use when reflecting on their photo shoots and edited images, as an ongoing independent activity for learners to use when they need it. As such it might be best to live on a permanent section of an e-learning portal for them to access, but this is up to you.
This is drawn from my years of experience as a practicing photographer and visual arts/photography teacher and has been freshly updated in August 2025.
