This pack of (almost) unlimited worksheets and teaching resources are designed to meet the Year 1 National Curriculum objective for Number: Addition and Subtraction by enabling pupils to read, write and interpret mathematical statements involving addition (+), subtraction (–) and equals (=), and to solve one-step problems using concrete and pictorial representations.

All calculations are intentionally limited to numbers and totals within 0–5 to support early conceptual understanding and good preparation before progressing to calculations within 10 and 20.

This resource will provide a clear progression of ready-to-use worksheets, reducing preparation time to the minimum, at the same time with text kept to a minimum, allowing you to use the level of language & vocabulary that YOU see is best for your students.
