Adding, Subtracting and Multiplying fractions

An outstanding fun lesson on Adding Subtracting and Multiplying fractions. A fun real life application of using operations with fractions to Shapes to work out area and perimeter of rectangular shapes.

Using misconception as a “Starter” to address students’ knowledge on adding fractions. Using teaching at this point to address the misconception.

Activity 1: Hit 12 activity where students will play the game in pairs to add fractions where it lands on the part of the column. First to reach to 12 or close to 12 wins.
