Lesson Description:
In this challenge students must navigate around objects with different colors, for example go to the left of red objects and to the right of blue objects. This will challenge students to make precise turns as well as using the ultrasonic sensor and/or color sensor.
Learning Goals:
Students learn to measure distance and angles to make more precise turns. Also students learn to use a combination of sensors to avoid objects.
Success Criteria:
• Team works together to build a functional robot
• Team's robot can go from the start to the finish
• Team avoids all objects and goes around the correct direction
• Team uses one or more sensors
Resources and Materials:
EV3 Kits
Student Laptops/Computers
Electrical Tape (to mark objects)
Duplo or other Objects for slalom course
