Teacher resources for a 90 minute lesson on the advantages and disadvantages of the jury in the English legal system. It contains a powerpoint and a student worksheet. Suitable for courses at level 3 including A level law, Access to HE Law, BTEC Law, Criminology applied Diploma and business law modules. The worksheets are designed to accompany the Youtube clips on the topic created by e-lawresources and students will need to watch the video to complete the table. The 5 question starter on the power point relates to the role of the jury. The lesson should take approx 90 mins but can be adapted to meet you needs. There are suggested timings in the powerpoint at the end of the slide. In addition to the starter, there are 3 tasks and a plenary. There are links to various games and quizzes on juries. Printing requirements 2 sides of A4 per student (can be double sided).
