Students will research and analyze the technological advances made during the age of exploration: printing press, navigational schools, astrolabe, magnetic compass, maps, caravels

Adheres to Social Studies Common Core Standards - research, application, literacy, vocabulary; writing/discussion based on argument
Differentiation: graphic organizer; cooperative (students can work with a partner for graphic organizer based upon teacher's discretion)
