KS3 lesson (can be adapted for KS4) on the Hindu practice of Ahimsa. Lesson explores the value of life, what ‘non-violence’ means and looks like (in thought and actions), what are Hindu Ahimsa and non-Ahimsa acts and a DART worksheet with further knowledge of Ahimsa (exploring the how and why). Lesson finishes with an independent writing task to summarise what they have learnt.

Please check out my other lessons. I have many singular KS3 lessons on a variety of Religious studies topics. I also have fully planned lessons for AQA Religious Studies GCSE on Christianity, Islam and Themes ABDE.
