SKILLS COVERED
Outcome 1 – Simplifying expressions: collecting like terms, expanding a single bracket (including negatives and x(x + a)), factorising fully, and the laws of indices for multiplying, dividing and powers of powers
Outcome 2 – Using formulae: substituting positive, negative and decimal values into area, perimeter, speed, circle, temperature and science formulae, including Pythagoras
