A fun tutorial style lesson that could be followed through as a tutorial or as a class. Designed to be followed over two 1 hour lessons.

The task builds student confidence through the use of Marquee or Lasso tool to remove parts of the image; Magic Wand for selecting areas of an image; Clone Tool for duplicating textures; Healing Brush Tool for adding a smooth finish; Liquify Tool for stretching parts of the image; Layers for inserting new images and effects; Burn Tool for altering skin appearance; animated GIFs to ensure the image remains animated once exported; and Tween function to smoothly animate a flying saucer.

It has been very well received by Year 9 students and could be used at Key Stage 4 as a fun introduction to animation. Please feel free to use and modify the slides in any way you see fit. I would love to hear if you have used it in class, and am open to feedback for improvements.

Happy Photoshopping!
