A classic Magic Square problem solving puzzle from Planet Primary. All the Aliens in each row total 15. So can your pupils predict which numbers are hidden by the blank Aliens?

Resource details and instructions

Two flash files to display an interactive Magic Square - black or white background. Insert them in to your notebook files or open them in a web browser and click on the aliens to interact.

Each alien on the square hides and reveals one of the numbers in the magic square when you click on it’s head. Some aliens start showing the number, or start with the number hidden. Click on the body to show or hide a space suit. Change the aliens showing to make the puzzle easier or harder
The files can be easily opened in software such as Smart Notebook, Internet Explorer, Flash Player, Powerpoint or similar.
