This resource introduces children to the world of clothing through hands-on activities.
The first worksheet features 24 brightly illustrated items of clothing, including hats, scarves, jackets, skirts, trousers, and tights.
Each item is placed in its own box with space underneath for children to write the name of the clothing or the material it’s made from, supporting both vocabulary and early science learning.
The clothing cards can also be cut out and duplicated to create fun matching or memory games, ideal for group work and EFL/ESL language practice.
Page 2 includes a set of written labels for children to match, draw, or glue the correct clothing pictures into place, reinforcing spelling, recognition, and fine motor skills.
Sheet 3 provides a teacher planning guide with four suggested ways to use the resource — focusing on naming clothes, exploring materials, dressing for the weather, and expressing favourites.
The activities are designed to build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also linking to science (materials and textures).
Suitable for EYFS, KS1, and ESL learners.
