Always, sometimes, never multiple cards.

24 cards to elicit discussion and promote reasoning among your pupils. Each card contains a statement about multiples. The children then discuss if it's always, sometimes or never true. Ranging from simple statements such as 'All multiples of 2 are even' to more difficult such as 'All multiples of 6 are multiples of 3' and 'All multiples of 3 are multiples of 6' . I've printed these out 8 to a page and laminated them. I found them a really useful tool and a good way of showing children that you can explain things without using words - very useful for those tricky SATs questions!
