They are given the empirical formula, the MS, the IR and the H1NMR.
This is all the information they require.
The answers are below:
1. Ethanol
2. Propionic acid
3. Acetone
4. Methyl propionate
5. Ethyl acetate
6. Ethanal
7. Toluene
8. 2-Butanol.
* In the answers I haven't necessarily used the IUPAC names.

This is great thanks
nice mix of questions and I like the variety in the style of specta. Some signal types are hard to see though e.g. is it a singlet or a doublet. Thanks for putting it together<br />
