AQA have released an official abbreviations list. AQA A-Level Biology Abbreviations - Official vs unauthorised is designed to highlight those terms that students commonly use in their writing that are not on the list and may therefore lose marks in exams.
AQAs list is alphabetical, however, this resource has been designed to help students learn what is allowed (and not) by presenting them in categorised form alongside abbreviations not allowed.
